My project is an improvement to the number of interactions that a player has with the environment by synthesizing the abilities of the players with the properties of the environment.
Follower's Folly
My project, dubbed Follower’s Folly, is a video game project. This project aims to create a top-down RTS god-game in which both players play as gods looking down on the map. Each player will have at least one follower. The players cannot control the follower directly, they will have to use a skill in order to corral them where they want them to go. The goal of the game is to kill the other god’s followers. However, the gods cannot directly kill a follower and thus players must employ the use of skills that deploy natural disasters and phenomenon in order to indirectly kill a follower.
